The goal in our first season as the Bristol Buccaneers was to bring world class squash back to the city of Bristol. Creating a team of players with a connection to the city, whether a current UWE student/athlete, UWE alumni or a player based in the city. This has been an overwhelming success with three absolutely brilliant home fixtures the city and club has been able to enjoy. We can safely say with the help of our brilliant sponsors that Pro league squash is back in Bristol!

Each home match has been a sell out event. All 96 seats have been sold alongside 20+ on the balcony and theaddition of free floor seating for juniors. This has been very important to us to ensure the next generation get tosee the aspirational figures we boast in the team. I know as a player myself how impactful the pro league was tome as a junior in Exeter. With additions of players, coaches, support crew we were looking at 150 spectators perhome game. This created a fantastic atmosphere for fans and players to enjoy.
StudentWe are super proud of our media and marketing team who have continuallyproduced the best work across the league.
“You’ve built the blueprint for an SSL team.” – Joey Barrington
